Established by Joona Louhi in 2022, Domicile Foundry focuses mainly on functional, historically conscious type designed for contemporary use.With years of experience in branding, Louhi holds an MA in Type Design (2019) from the Royal Academy of Arts, the Hague (KABK/Type and Media). We are based in Helsinki, Finland.

Our Standard License model is value-based, aiming to be fairly priced for everything from small, 2-person operations to multinational corporations. It covers most of the common mediums like print, web, apps, social media, logo use and broadcasting with a single purchase. The Standard License is also fully perpetual, there will be no need to upgrade in case the company size grows over time.
