Stick is a witch’s charm, a bonfire or a toothpick. Stick is a one-weight geometric display typeface which mimics the manual act of adhering pieces of wood together. It is drawn by the formal rule that whenever two lines intersect they must be “sharpened” to the point of almost “snapping.” This could be considered a primitive ink trap-concept that merges a physical construction-principle with a decidedly digital implementation.

Stick is—given its weight and style—excellently suited for headline usage, but in smaller sizes it demonstrates an interesting texture that justifies its use for short paragraphs as well.
